The walls of the handsome drawing room have been treated with a deep orange specialist lacquer paint finish. Upholstered furniture - some bespoke, some antique - is covered in fabrics from George Spencer (banquette), Colefax & Fowler (blue armchair) and Claremont (yellow chair). The painting behind the banquette - Colleges Noir et Rouges 1950 was bought by the client from Thomas Chabolle.Mark Anthony Fox

A bar ‘nook’ has been created on the landing just off the drawing room. Its verre églomisé surface is etched with images of pagodas and pavilions inspired by an antique document. It was designed by VGA and made by Mathew Bray & Matthew Collins.
